We're better than this

I’m so frustrated.

Everything I hoped my friends would never turn out to be; they are.

Drug dependant;

Violent;

Suicidal,

Is this the same sad fate that will befall our entire generation?

I want to stop it; I want to help them,

But I don’t know how anymore.

It’s the drugs. The drugs that are the main issue.

A, when you take drugs you change, you become violent and uncaring.

S, when you take drugs, you feel powerful, you feel part of something bigger than just you or me; it gives you a false sense of security of your place in life.

What neither of you realise is that you’re better than that.
You deserve more than crawling about in a gutter, craving those substances you have become dependant on.

I want you to see it before it’s all too late.

I don’t want to lose you,

I don’t want you to lose yourselves.
